Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects tumor protein 63 (gene tp63) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
p63 (TP63) is a p53 family transcription factor that exists as multiple isoforms with or without an N-terminal transactivation domain. The ΔNp63 isoforms are master regulators of basal epithelial stem cells and are essential for skin, limb and craniofacial development. p63 is a widely used marker of basal and myoepithelial cells.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish p63/TP63 fragment (Met1–Glu588), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places tumor protein 63 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
