Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes DNA sliding clamp PCNA in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
PCNA (proliferating cell nuclear antigen) is a ring-shaped DNA clamp that encircles DNA and tethers polymerases δ and ε for processive replication. It also serves as a platform for many repair and damage-tolerance factors and is a classic marker of proliferating cells.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish PCNA fragment (Met1–Ser260), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places DNA sliding clamp PCNA in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
