Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (gene pdgfra) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
PDGFRα is a receptor tyrosine kinase that binds PDGF-A, PDGF-B and PDGF-C dimers and signals through PI3K, PLCγ and SHP2. It drives proliferation, migration and differentiation of mesenchymal cells and is required for skeletal, gut and neural crest development. Activating PDGFRA mutations occur in some gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and zebrafish is also used to study its developmental roles.

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish spinal cord tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
