Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit RPB4 (gene polr2d) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
POLR2D (RPB4) is a subunit of RNA polymerase II that pairs with RPB7 to form a stalk-like subcomplex. This subcomplex helps keep the polymerase clamp closed during transcription and can bind single-stranded DNA and RNA, and POLR2D is studied as part of the core transcription machinery.
| Target | DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit RPB4 (gene polr2d; UniProt A0A8M1N062, zebrafish) |

| Form | Lyophilized |
| Formulation | Per vial: 4 mg trehalose; 0.9 mg NaCl; 0.2 mg Na2HPO4 |
| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish spinal tissue, zebrafish muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish POLR2D fragment (Ala10–Asp127), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit RPB4 in the nucleus.
