Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects pre-mRNA-processing factor 6 (gene prpf6) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
PRPF6 is a large HAT-repeat protein of the U5 snRNP that bridges the U4/U6 and U5 particles within the tri-snRNP. It is required for spliceosome assembly, has also been reported to enhance androgen and glucocorticoid receptor-driven transcription, and has been linked to retinitis pigmentosa.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places pre-mRNA-processing factor 6 in the nucleus speckle and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
