Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets proteasome subunit alpha type (gene psma1) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
PSMA1 (α6) is one of the seven α subunits that form the outer rings of the 20S core proteasome. The α rings control entry of substrates into the proteolytic chamber and dock regulatory particles such as the 19S cap, and PSMA1 is used as a marker of proteasome abundance in protein degradation research.

|---|---|
| Host / Clonality / Isotype | Rabbit / Polyclonal / Rabbit IgG |
| Reactivity | Zebrafish |
| Form | Lyophilized |
| Formulation | Per vial: 4 mg trehalose; 0.9 mg NaCl; 0.2 mg Na2HPO4 |
| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish spinal tissue, zebrafish heart tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish PSMA1 fragment (Met1–Glu250), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places proteasome subunit alpha type in the cytoplasm and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
