Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects proteasome subunit beta type-1 (gene psmb1) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
PSMB1 (β6) is a non-catalytic β subunit of the 20S core proteasome, conserved across vertebrates including mouse and zebrafish. It sits in the inner rings that form the proteolytic chamber alongside the active β1, β2 and β5 subunits, contributing to proteasome assembly and the degradation of ubiquitinated proteins.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Recombinant zebrafish PSMB1 fragment (Tyr18–Asp237), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places proteasome subunit beta type-1 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
