Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets 26S proteasome regulatory subunit 4 (gene psmc1a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
In zebrafish, psmc1a encodes a 26S proteasome regulatory subunit 4 (Rpt2) homolog, one of the AAA+ ATPases of the 19S regulatory particle. By analogy with its well-studied mammalian counterpart, it is expected to help unfold ubiquitinated proteins and open the core particle gate during proteasomal degradation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish eye tissue, zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish spinal tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish muscle tissue, zebrafish heart tissue, zebrafish colon tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Recombinant zebrafish PSMC1a/b fragment (Lys21–Leu440), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places 26S proteasome regulatory subunit 4 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
