Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects 26S proteasome regulatory subunit 6B (gene psmc4) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
PSMC4 (Rpt3) is an AAA+ ATPase subunit of the 19S regulatory particle of the 26S proteasome. It contributes to substrate unfolding and gate opening of the 20S core, and it assembles into the base subcomplex with the help of dedicated chaperones such as PSMD10 (gankyrin).

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish colon tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish PSMC4 fragment (Met1–Asp410), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places 26S proteasome regulatory subunit 6B in the cytoplasm and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
