Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets 26S proteasome non-ATPase regulatory subunit 7 (gene psmd7) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
PSMD7 (Rpn8) is an MPN domain subunit of the 19S regulatory lid that pairs with PSMD14 (Rpn11). Although PSMD7 itself lacks catalytic activity, the heterodimer is needed for PSMD14 deubiquitinase function, allowing ubiquitin chains to be removed as substrates enter the proteasome.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish PSMD7 fragment (Met1–Asn274), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
