Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects pancreas transcription factor 1 subunit alpha (gene ptf1a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
PTF1A is a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor that binds E-box sequences as part of the PTF1 complex. It is required to specify pancreatic progenitors and maintain acinar cell gene expression, and it also controls inhibitory neuron fates in the cerebellum, spinal cord and retina, so it is studied in developmental biology in species including zebrafish.
