Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes ras-related protein Rab-14 (gene rab14) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
Rab14 (RAB14) is a Rab GTPase that controls membrane traffic between the Golgi and endosomes. In mouse embryos it is needed for delivery of FGF receptors during early post-implantation development, and it also participates in GLUT4 trafficking and phagosome maturation; the zebrafish ortholog is also studied.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish spinal tissue, zebrafish pancreas tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Recombinant zebrafish RAB14/4l fragment (Asp108–Cys215), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places ras-related protein Rab-14 in the cytoplasmic vesicle, early endosome membrane and recycling endosome. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
