Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects pre-mRNA-splicing factor RBM22 in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
RBM22 is a core spliceosome protein that contacts both U6 snRNA and the intron close to the 5′ splice site while the spliceosome is activated and carries out catalysis. It is required for the first step of splicing, and because it is highly conserved it is also studied in zebrafish.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish RBM22 fragment (Asp17–Arg296), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places pre-mRNA-splicing factor RBM22 in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
