Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects protein RCC2 homolog in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
RCC2 (also called TD-60) is a protein related to RCC1 that regulates small GTPases, acting as an exchange factor for RALA while restraining RAC1 activation. It is needed for proper kinetochore–spindle attachment and chromosomal passenger complex function in mitosis, and it also controls cell spreading and directional migration. It is studied in human cells and in zebrafish.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish spinal cord tissue, zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish RCC2 fragment (Lys266–Leu495), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places protein RCC2 homolog in the nucleus, cytoplasm, chromosome and midbody. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
