Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes C-terminal-binding protein 2 (gene ctbp2l) in zebrafish samples.
In zebrafish, ctbp2l encodes Ribeye b, one of the two zebrafish paralogs of RIBEYE, the CtBP2-related structural protein of synaptic ribbons. Ribbons are specialized structures at synapses of photoreceptors and hair cells that support sustained neurotransmitter release, and antibodies to Ribeye b are used to label ribbon synapses in the zebrafish retina and lateral line.
