Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects large ribosomal subunit protein uL10 (gene rplp0) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
RPLP0 (uL10, ribosomal protein P0) forms the base of the ribosomal stalk of the large subunit, anchoring the P1 and P2 proteins that recruit translation elongation factors. It is the eukaryotic counterpart of bacterial L10, and its transcript is widely used as a qPCR reference gene in humans, zebrafish and other species.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish RPLP0 fragment (Asp33–Asp319), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places large ribosomal subunit protein uL10 in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
