Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets succinate dehydrogenase (gene sdha) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
SDHA is the flavoprotein subunit of succinate dehydrogenase, the enzyme that is both mitochondrial respiratory complex II and a step in the TCA cycle. It oxidizes succinate to fumarate and passes the electrons on to ubiquinone, and SDHA is studied in mitochondrial disease and as a tumor suppressor in paraganglioma research.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish SDHA fragment (Asp132–Arg551), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places succinate dehydrogenase in the mitochondrion inner membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
