Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes selenide, water dikinase 1 (gene sephs1) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
SEPHS1 is a selenophosphate synthetase family member that has recently been described as a core subunit of the zincore complex. This complex grips the backbone of zinc finger transcription factors and holds them on their DNA target sites, supporting gene expression programs; SEPHS1 is also studied in selenium metabolism and development.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places selenide, water dikinase 1 in the nucleus, chromosome and cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
