Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes splicing factor 3A subunit 1 (gene sf3a1) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC and ICC/IF.
Splicing factor 3A subunit 1 (SF3A1, SF3a120) is a component of the SF3a complex within the U2 snRNP of the spliceosome. SF3a helps the U2 snRNP engage the intron branch site and select the branch-point adenosine during early spliceosome assembly, so SF3A1 is studied in pre-mRNA splicing.
| Target | Splicing factor 3A subunit 1 (gene sf3a1; UniProt Q90X41, zebrafish) |

Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish spinal cord tissue, zebrafish eye tissue, zebrafish muscle tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish colon tissue, zebrafish brain tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish SF3A1 fragment (Lys16–Pro646), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places splicing factor 3A subunit 1 in the nucleus speckle.
