Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets splicesome-associated factor 61 (gene sf3a3) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
Splicing factor 3A subunit 3 (SF3A3, SF3a60) is a subunit of the SF3a complex of the U2 snRNP. It contributes to early spliceosome assembly and to recognition of the intron branch site in pre-mRNA, and it is studied in pre-mRNA splicing in human and zebrafish systems.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish SF3A3 fragment (Glu123–Gln472), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places splicesome-associated factor 61 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
