Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects transporter (gene slc6a4a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
In zebrafish, slc6a4a encodes a sodium-dependent transporter of the SLC6 family, one of the fish counterparts of the mammalian serotonin transporter. Its specific function in zebrafish has not been fully characterized.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish head tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places transporter in the membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
