Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets mothers against decapentaplegic homolog (gene smad1) in zebrafish samples.
SMAD1 is a receptor-regulated SMAD that carries bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signals. When BMP type I receptors phosphorylate it, SMAD1 binds SMAD4, enters the nucleus and regulates target genes, influencing embryonic development, cell differentiation and bone formation.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places mothers against decapentaplegic homolog in the cytoplasm and nucleus.
