Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets brahma protein-like protein 1 (gene smarca4a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF.
In zebrafish, smarca4a encodes a Brahma-like SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling ATPase, the counterpart of mammalian BRG1. Its roles in zebrafish have not been fully characterized.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish spinal cord tissue, zebrafish eye tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): zebrafish embryo tissue.

Recombinant zebrafish SMARCA4A fragment (Gln573–Glu775), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places brahma protein-like protein 1 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
