Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects SWI/SNF-related matrix-associated actin-dependent regulator of chromatin subfamily B member 1-A (gene smarcb1a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, smarcb1a encodes a core subunit of the SWI/SNF (BAF) chromatin remodeling complex, related to mammalian SMARCB1/INI1. As part of this complex it is thought to help regulate gene expression during cell proliferation, differentiation and neural development.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish SMARCB1a/b fragment (Glu93–Asp346), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places SWI/SNF-related matrix-associated actin-dependent regulator of chromatin subfamily B member 1-A in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
