Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes transcription factor PU.1b isoform X1 (gene spi1b) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, spi1b encodes a PU.1 ETS family transcription factor related to mammalian SPI1. It is expressed in early myeloid cells and is widely used as a marker in zebrafish studies of macrophage and neutrophil development.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish SPI1B fragment (Met1–Met297), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places transcription factor PU.1b isoform X1 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
