Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets stress-induced-phosphoprotein 1 (gene stip1) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
Stress-induced phosphoprotein 1 (STIP1, also called HOP) is a TPR-domain co-chaperone that links HSP70/HSC70 and HSP90. By bridging the two chaperones it helps transfer client proteins such as steroid receptors and kinases from HSP70 to HSP90, and it is studied in protein folding and proteostasis.
| Target | Stress-induced-phosphoprotein 1 (gene stip1; UniProt Q5RKM3, zebrafish) |

| Host / Clonality / Isotype | Rabbit / Polyclonal / Rabbit IgG |
| Reactivity | Zebrafish |
| Form | Lyophilized |
| Formulation | Per vial: 4 mg trehalose; 0.9 mg NaCl; 0.2 mg Na2HPO4 |
| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish colon tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish spinal cord tissue, zebrafish skeletal muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish STIP1 fragment (Arg504–Arg542), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places stress-induced-phosphoprotein 1 in the dynein axonemal particle. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
