Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets syntaxin-binding protein 1 (gene stxbp1a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, stxbp1a is one of two paralogs of the Munc18-1 gene (STXBP1 in mammals). By similarity to the mammalian protein, it is expected to bind syntaxin and support synaptic vesicle fusion, and it is studied in zebrafish models of neurotransmission and epilepsy.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish STXBP1a/b fragment (Lys184–Arg227), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places syntaxin-binding protein 1 in the cytoplasm and membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
