Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes polycomb protein suz12-A (gene suz12a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, suz12a is one of two paralogs of the Polycomb protein SUZ12. As part of the PRC2 complex with Ezh2 and Eed, it is expected to support histone H3 lysine 27 methylation and repression of developmental target genes.
| Target | Polycomb protein suz12-A (gene suz12a; UniProt Q6DC03, zebrafish) |

| Host / Clonality / Isotype | Rabbit / Polyclonal / Rabbit IgG |
| Reactivity | Zebrafish |
| Form | Lyophilized |
| Formulation | Per vial: 4 mg trehalose; 0.9 mg NaCl; 0.2 mg Na2HPO4 |
| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish spinal cord tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish SUZ12a/b fragment (Lys38–Lys448), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places polycomb protein suz12-A in the nucleus.
