Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects COMPASS component SWD1 in yeast samples.
In budding yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), Swd1 is a core subunit of Set1C/COMPASS, the complex that mono-, di- and trimethylates histone H3 lysine 4. Swd1 acts as an assembly hub for the complex and a major contact surface with the nucleosome, and COMPASS activity is linked to transcription and telomere maintenance.
