Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects T-box transcription factor TBX1 in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, tbx1 is a T-box transcription factor expressed in pharyngeal mesoderm and endoderm. It is needed for development of the pharyngeal arches, their arteries and neural crest–derived cartilage, and zebrafish tbx1 mutants are used to model processes disrupted in human 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish spinal cord tissue, zebrafish heart tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Recombinant zebrafish TBX1 fragment (Pro93–Arg420), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places T-box transcription factor TBX1 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (zebrafish): Expressed in the ear and mesendodermal components of pharyngeal arches.
