Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes trimeric intracellular cation channel type B (gene tmem38b) in zebrafish samples.
In zebrafish, tmem38b encodes TRIC-B, a trimeric intracellular cation channel in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. It conducts K+ as a counter-ion that supports rapid Ca2+ release from intracellular stores. In humans, loss of TMEM38B causes a recessive form of osteogenesis imperfecta, and zebrafish is used as a model for its role in bone formation.
