Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes toll-interacting protein (gene tollip) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
Toll-interacting protein (TOLLIP) is an adaptor that negatively regulates IL-1 receptor and Toll-like receptor signaling, in part by inhibiting IRAK1. It also binds ubiquitin and ATG8 family proteins, helping deliver ubiquitinated cargo and protein aggregates to autophagy, and it takes part in endosomal trafficking. TOLLIP is studied in innate immunity in human and zebrafish models.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish TOLLIP fragment (Met1–Leu276), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places toll-interacting protein in the cytoplasm, endosome and early endosome. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
