Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 2 (gene trpm2) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
TRPM2 is a non-selective cation channel of the melastatin TRP subfamily that lets sodium and calcium into cells. It is gated by intracellular ADP-ribose together with calcium, and responds to oxidative stress and warmth, so it links reactive oxygen species to calcium signaling in immune cells, neurons and pancreatic β cells and is studied in inflammation and cell death.

Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish integument tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish TRPM2 fragment (Glu54–Phe1470), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 2 in the cell membrane.
