Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets epithelial calcium channel (gene trpv6) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
TRPV6 is a highly calcium-selective channel that provides the entry route for calcium absorption across epithelia, especially in the intestine and placenta. It is activated by low intracellular calcium and inactivated by calcium and calmodulin feedback, making it a key player in whole-body calcium balance; it is also studied in several epithelial cancers.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish TRPV6 fragment (Asn27–Tyr683), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places epithelial calcium channel in the cell membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
