Product Overview

This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes tetratricopeptide repeat protein 7B (gene ttc7b) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.

TTC7B is a tetratricopeptide repeat protein that forms a complex with EFR3 and the phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase PI4KA. By bridging PI4KA to EFR3 at the plasma membrane, it supports production of phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate, a lipid important for membrane identity and signaling.

Target Tetratricopeptide repeat protein 7B (gene ttc7b; UniProt A0A8M3AJW5, zebrafish)
Host / Clonality / Isotype Rabbit / Polyclonal / Rabbit IgG
Reactivity Zebrafish
Form Lyophilized
Formulation Per vial: 4 mg trehalose; 0.9 mg NaCl; 0.2 mg Na2HPO4
Storage As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.

Validated Applications

IHC (paraffin sections) 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish)

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish colon tissue, zebrafish liver tissue.

Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Immunogen

Recombinant zebrafish TTC7B fragment (Glu276–His803), expressed in E. coli.

Reactivity Notes

The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places tetratricopeptide repeat protein 7B in the cell membrane and cytoplasm.

Safety

For research use only; not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Handle with standard laboratory precautions.
Q.Which applications is this antibody validated for, and at what dilution?
A.Validated applications with suggested starting dilutions: IHC (paraffin sections) 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish). Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory.
Q.Which species does this antibody react with?
A.Validated reactivity: Zebrafish. Other species are not listed by the supplier.
Q.What immunogen was used to raise this antibody?
A.Recombinant zebrafish TTC7B fragment (Glu276–His803), expressed in E. coli.
Q.How should this antibody be stored?
A.As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
