Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes vitamin D-binding protein (gene gc) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
Vitamin D-binding protein (GC, also called DBP or Gc-globulin) is a plasma protein made by the liver. It carries vitamin D and its metabolites in the blood, especially 25-hydroxyvitamin D, and also binds free actin released from damaged cells. It is studied in vitamin D biology, and variants of GC are common in human populations.

Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
