Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets von Willebrand factor (gene vwf) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
Von Willebrand factor (VWF) is a large multimeric plasma glycoprotein made by endothelial cells and megakaryocytes. At sites of vessel injury it bridges exposed collagen to the platelet receptor GPIb, supporting platelet adhesion, and it carries and protects coagulation factor VIII. Its deficiency causes von Willebrand disease, the most common inherited bleeding disorder.
