Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets wdr5 protein in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
WDR5 is a WD40-repeat scaffold protein found in the MLL/SET1 histone methyltransferase complexes, where together with RBBP5 and ASH2L it supports methylation of histone H3 at lysine 4, a mark of active transcription. It also belongs to the NSL acetyltransferase complex, and it is widely studied in chromatin regulation, stem cells and cancer biology.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish WDR5 fragment (Gln25–Asp324), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places wdr5 protein in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
