Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects exportin-1 (gene xpo1a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, xpo1a encodes exportin-1, a member of the importin-β family of nuclear transport receptors. By analogy with other vertebrates, it is expected to mediate export of proteins carrying leucine-rich nuclear export signals from the nucleus, although the zebrafish protein itself has not been studied in detail.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 8% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish XPO1A/B fragment (His988–Leu1054), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places exportin-1 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
