Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets MYND-type zinc finger-containing chromatin reader ZMYND8 isoform X2 in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
ZMYND8 is a chromatin reader that combines PHD, bromo- and PWWP domains to recognize specific combinations of histone methylation and acetylation marks. It works with the demethylase KDM5C and the NuRD complex to regulate enhancer activity and gene expression, and it is recruited to DNA damage sites, so it is studied in transcription control, DNA repair and cancer.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 8% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish ZMYND8 fragment (Met20–Pro1167), expressed in E. coli.
