Product Overview
Clone 28Z52 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes zinc fingers and homeoboxes protein 2 (gene ZHX2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 92.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 92 kDa.
ZHX2 is a transcriptional repressor containing two zinc fingers and five homeodomains. It is best known for silencing the α-fetoprotein gene in the liver after birth, and it also represses other targets, has been linked to retinal bipolar cell development, and is studied in liver metabolism and hepatocellular carcinoma.
