Product Overview
Clone 24Z48 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes zinc finger protein 217 (gene ZNF217) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 115.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 125 kDa.
ZNF217 is a Krüppel-like zinc finger protein that binds target promoters and represses transcription as part of corepressor complexes such as CoREST. It promotes cell proliferation and resists cell death, and its gene lies in the 20q13 region that is frequently amplified in breast and other cancers.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): Caco2 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human ZNF217.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places zinc finger protein 217 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
