Product Overview
Clone 27Z29 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes zinc finger protein ZPR1 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 50.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 51 kDa.
ZPR1 is a zinc finger protein that shuttles between the cytoplasm and nucleus in response to growth signals and is needed for normal cell-cycle progression. It interacts with the survival motor neuron (SMN) protein and helps it accumulate in nuclear bodies, so it is studied in cell proliferation and spinal muscular atrophy research.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 1:500–1:2000 |
|---|---|
| Immunohistochemistry | 1:50–1:200 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human MCF-7 cells, human HEL cells, human Caco-2 cells, human K562 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human ZNF259.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places zinc finger protein ZPR1 in the nucleus, cytoplasm and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in fibroblast. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
