About the Analyte
ATP is the principal energy currency of the cell and also drives cytoskeletal assembly and disassembly, so its intracellular concentration reports directly on metabolic state, viability and mitochondrial competence.
Assay Principle
The ATP Colorimetric/Fluorometric Assay Kit applies a dual colorimetric/fluorometric format to this measurement, read at colorimetric (OD = 570 nm) or fluorometric (Ex/Em = 535/590 nm). Hands-on and incubation time is less than 30 minutes.
Tribioscience’s ATP Colorimetric and Fluorometric Assay kit is designed to be a robust, simple method that utilizes the phosphorylation of glycerol to generate a product that is easily quantified by colorimetric (OD = 570 nm) or fluorometric (Ex/Em = 535/590 nm) methods.
