Overview

ATRX Antibody is an antibody targeting ATRX. Host: Rabbit. Monoclonal. Clone: ATRX/7188R. Format: Purified. Applications: IHC-P.

Key elements and design rationale

  • Target: ATRX.
  • Immunogen: A portion of amino acids 2200-2450 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the ATRX antibody..
  • Species reactivity: Human.
  • Localization: Nucleus.
  • Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).

Biological background (from provided description)

ATRX is a member of the Snf2 family of helicase/ATPases, which contribute to the remodeling of the nucelosome structure in an ATP-dependent manner, and facilitate the initiation of transcription and replication. Structurally, ATRX contains a PHD zinc finger motif.

Common research applications

  • IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.

Notes for experimental interpretation

  • Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
  • Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).

Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
