Biological Activity

beta2AR/M-receptor agonist-1 (example 131), a muscarinic antagonist and beta2 adrenoceptor agonist (MABA), exhibits dual potency towards beta2 adrenoceptor and muscarinic receptor. It demonstrates a significant affinity for the beta2 adrenoceptor, indicated by an EC50 value of 9.2 nM, and for the muscarinic receptor with a Ki value of 30.2 nM. Furthermore, its MABA activity is highlighted by an EC50 value of 4.0 nM (1).

Safety & Regulatory

For Research Use Only (RUO). Not for therapeutic, diagnostic, or clinical use. Wear appropriate PPE and consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) prior to handling.

After the inhibitor is dissolved in DMSO to prepare the stock solution, can it be stored at room temperature for one week?

It is not recommended to store DMSO stock solutions at room temperature. Once the stock solution is prepared, aliquot into single-use volumes and store at −20 °C (or −80 °C for sensitive compounds). Room-temperature storage accelerates chemical degradation and moisture uptake. When ready to use, thaw an aliquot at room temperature, use immediately, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

What should I do if I find that the ice pack has melted upon receiving the product?

Melted ice packs are generally not a concern for solid powder compounds, as the short transit period at ambient temperature does not typically affect compound integrity or potency. Powder form is inherently more stable than solution form during temperature fluctuations. Upon receipt, transfer the compound to −20 °C immediately. If you observe color change, odor, or physical changes, contact BioHippo for quality investigation.
