Biotin-PEG1-azide is a cleavable, single-unit PEG ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs)[1]. As a click chemistry reagent, it carries an Azide group that can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups, and it can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups. It is supplied as a white to off-white oil (C14H24N6O3S, MW 356.44) at 99.88% purity.
