Assay Principle
Tribioscience’s Botulinum Neurotoxin Type E (BoNT-E) ELISA is designed to quantitatively detect Botulinum Neurotoxin Type E (BoNT-E) levels in serum, plasma, and other biological samples. The main feature is that the kit uses our novel proprietary approaches to combine samples and detections into a one-step instead of the complicated traditional methods. It makes the assay simple, easy, accurate, and fast (Fig. 1). The detection range is from 62.5 to 4000 pg/mL. The levels of Botulinum Neurotoxin Type E (BoNT-E) samples are parallel to the standard curves obtained using the kit standards linearly. Therefore, the kit can be used to determine relative mass values for natural Botulinum Neurotoxin Type E (BoNT-E) protein.
Typical Data This standard curve (R 2 =0.9972) is provided for demonstration only. A standard curve should be generated for each set of samples assayed. Fig. 3 is an example of typical Data.
Sensitivity The minimum detectable dose (MDD) of BoNT-E is typically 46 pg/mL.
Botulinum Neurotoxin Type E (BoNT-E) ELISA Kit is a Solid-phase sandwich ELISA for the quantitative determination of Botulinum Neurotoxin Type E (BoNT-E). The microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target. Target present in the sample or standard binds the immobilized antibody, is detected with a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP, and quantified colorimetrically against a standard curve.
