Scientific Background

Human BTNL8, also known as Butyrophilin-like protein 8, GenBank Accession No. NM_024850, a.a. 18-238, fused to the C-terminus at the Fc portion of human IgG1 followed by a C-terminal Avi-tag™ and expressed in a HEK293 cell expression system. MW=54 kDa. This protein runs at a higher MW by SDS-PAGE due to glycosylation. This protein is enzymatically biotinylated using Avi-Tag technology. Biotinylation is confirmed to be ≥90%.
