Overview

CD162 Antibody / PSGL-1 is an antibody targeting CD162. Host: Mouse. Monoclonal. Clone: PSGL1/1567. Format: Purified. Applications: FACS, IF.

Key elements and design rationale

  • Target: CD162.
  • Immunogen: Recombinant human PSGL-1 /CD162 protein was used as the immunogen for the CD162 antibody..
  • Species reactivity: Human.
  • Localization: Membrane.
  • Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).

Biological background (from provided description)

CD162 glycoprotein functions as a high affinity counter-receptor for the cell adhesion molecules P-, E- and L- selectin expressed on myeloid cells and stimulated T lymphocytes. As such, this protein plays a critical role in leukocyte trafficking during inflammation by tethering of leukocytes to activated platelets or endothelia expressing selectins.

Common research applications

  • IF/ICC: subcellular localization imaging with proper background controls.

Notes for experimental interpretation

  • Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
  • Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).

Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
